Waheed inserts a key into a lock, opening the door into a small, dimly lit room filled with more bookshelves. Silvia follows him inside.

SILVIA: Anything new come in?

Waheed smiles, excitedly

WAHEED: Indeed.

He walks over to a bookshelf, where he pulls a bookout.

WAHEED: You sent me on quite the wild goose chase, but I finally managed to track it down.

He hands the book to Silvia. It is a heavy tome with a red binding, with a gold-leaf flame on its cover.

WAHEED: The Arkache Ashkarya, translated to Mirali.
SILVIA: Wow...

Waheed head out the door, waving

WAHEED: I'll leave you to it.
SILIVA: Thank you.

2-29 Arkache Ashkarya

Hope everyone is doing well and that you had a great Pride!  Happy (late) Canada Day!  And happy Fourth of July for my American readers as well!

The High Bishop of the Church of the Sacred Flame once described the Arkache Ashkarya as the most wicked and vile book to ever grace the earth.  For many years it became nearly impossible to find copies of it in any language.  Waheed spent months tracking down leads and writing missives to bookkeepers and private collections all over the world to get this copy, and he is very proud of his accomplishment.

See you next week!
