Dorian is desperately trying to keep this conversation on track like a dad on a road trip.
"Aiden, Lorielle, you better cut it out or I will turn this exposition around, I swear to god!"
Aiden continues to ramble to himself. Lorielle pats his shoulder.
Aiden: it's such bullshit to destroy records; like it's gonna be so terrible to know more shit; godsdamned ridiculous, lunacy
Lorielle: But I though Apsects only awaken when a person is very young.
Dorian looks over his shoulder to Lorielle.
Dorian: Not necessar'ly. C'n happen at any age.
Lorielle proudly motions to her chest.
Lorielle: I connected with the wind when I was four.
Aiden raises an eyebrow.
Aiden: Maybe if you'd started archery then you could actually hit things.
Lorielle waves her hand, and a gust of wind knocks Aiden's hat off of his head.
Lorielle: Oh, I hit things.
Aiden: Hey!
Dorian speaks to the silver haired girl, trying to get the conversation back on track.
Dorian: But never mind all that lass-- how'd you end up in Northside?
The silver haired girl holds one of her pigtails, drawing attention to her air and its color.
Girl: Fortunately enough my... appearance didn't change until I'd had some time to prepare. I had some money saved, and I was looking for a job, honestly!
She lowers her head, recalling the rejections she faced.
Girl: But anyone could see I didn't belong in the Upper City.
